We are excited to invite you to make the most of this year’s fig season and attend Slow Food’s Fignic, our most popular event. Willabrand Australia is a multi-award winning, family-owned South Australian business. With almost 12,000 trees and five main fig varieties in their orchard, Willabrand practises organic and preservative free management to produce consistently beautiful fruit each season. Willabrand figs are a fruit of the region and property at Glen Ewin Estate, meaning they have a very low environmental impact. Let’s celebrate this regional food culture by supporting the good, clean and fair production of Willabrand figs in South Australia.

On the day…
We will enjoy meeting Willa and hearing him speak about the history and products at Willabrand. We will then celebrate the fig season with a delicious long table lunch in the orchard with local produce prepared by Willabrand Chefs. There will also be an opportunity to forage through the orchard and pick your own figs. A welcome drink of Fig Royale Spritz or Sparkling Brut will be provided, as well as Fig Cordial, with other drinks available for purchase to enjoy with your lunch.
