As the evenings start to get cooler, we all start to look for a bit more of the comfort food factor for dinner.
So what do you cook that’s seasonal, satisfying, budget-friendly, delicious AND healthy? Why, a very veggie Bolognese of course!
We’ll show you how to combine South Australian lentils with new season mushrooms, leeks, carrots and a few ‘secret’ ingredients to make a richly-flavoured veggie sauce that even die-hard meat lovers and fussy kids will enjoy.
As well making this pasta sauce, we’ll chat about lots of other ideas for autumn meals using local, seasonal ingredients that are good for you, good for producers and good for the planet.
Everyone will have a small bowl of pasta and a fresh autumn salad to enjoy at the end of the class.
The class is vegetarian and we’ll also include vegan and gluten-free options to cater for different dietary needs.
