We are delighted to partner with Tasting Australia for ‘Generations Collide’ a collaboration with Slow Food South Australia’s Patron Cheong Liew and Leader of our Chef Alliance Kane Pollard. Join us for lunch on 6th May at the beautiful Topiary. Slow Food members can contact us to receive the special promo code for their member discount or click here to become a member today and receive member price.
Cheong Liew and Kane Pollard don’t share a generation – or even a cooking style. Linking them, though, is the same deep passion for South Australia and its produce.
Meet the acclaimed pair in the Topiary courtyard for a shared Saturday lunch set to beautifully capture the Slow Food ethos.
Enjoy a welcome drink while Liew and Pollard prepare snacks for you to enjoy, with a four-course meal and paired wines to follow. Dishes will reflect four South Australian regions, using produce at its peak to make culinary magic.
Ultimately Liew and Pollard have much in common. Both launched their restaurants at similar ages (the Adelaide drawcard Neddy’s for Liew, foothills haven Topiary for Pollard) and work with local, seasonal ingredients, pushing boundaries in new and delicious ways.
Sharing knowledge between generations is the essence of Slow Food. Liew is the movement’s South Australian patron, Pollard the leader of its chef alliance. Be there for the most graceful of collisions.
