Slow Food Cooking Demonstration with Chef Nick Tadija at Willunga Farmers’ Market

Join us at 10 am on Saturday 5th April 2025 at the Willunga Farmers’ Market where committee member Nick Tadija, executive chef at Down the Rabbit Hole Wines, will be doing a cooking demonstration embracing the ethos of the Slow Food movement. Using ingredients from the WFM for his cooking demo, tastings will be provided, and Nick will speak about his passionate involvement with the Slow Food movement.

Slow Food South Australia aims to engage and educate local South Australian communities and food producers to discover more about their abundant food heritage and edible biodiversity. Part of the international organisation whose ethos is ‘Good, Clean and Fair Food for All’ the movement believes in the importance of passing on knowledge about local food cultures. By understanding where our food comes from, how it was produced and by whom, adults and children can learn how to combine pleasure and responsibility in daily choices and appreciate the cultural and social importance of food.
