Slow Food South Australia has collaborated with Bookabee Tours Australia and the Adelaide Botanical Gardens for a Members event.

On February 11th at 2.30pm we will assemble at the Friends’ Gate on Plane Tree Drive to enjoy a lemon myrtle cordial and native herb biscuit provided by the committee of Slow Food South Australia.  Those who have not visited the Book Shop can do so before our tour which commences at 3 pm with multiple award winning Bookabee Tours Australia.

Bookabee Tours Australia is 100% Aboriginal owned and operated and provides memorable experiences combined with Aboriginal knowledge and culture. Their experienced guides will lead us through the Adelaide Botanic Gardens to show it to us from a different perspective. The Adelaide Botanic Gardens Native Plant and Social History guided walk will be for two hours after which you will have the option to enjoy a cup of delicious Quandong Dreaming tea. We hope you will stay in the gardens to explore some more areas or take advantage of being in the city at twilight.

Ticket price options include either a ticket only for the tour or the option to purchase a ticket which includes one of our new, stylish Slow Food South Australia market bags. The market bags will be at a special discount for this event only — usually they will be $20. The market bags can be viewed on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We do hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you at this special Members event.
